Okay so our last week was much better than the first two weeks. We did a day trip to Corrigedore, WWII overload. We meet with missionaries, had dinner with employees and landlords. We visited the Children's museum & the famous Rizal Park. Josh also played golf with the Who's Who of the Philippines. Less of a whinge right here.
Corregidor is a small rocky island in the Philippines about 48 kilometres west of Manila located strategically at the entrance of Manila Bay. This island fortress stands as a memorial for the courage, valour, and heroism of its Filipino and American defenders who bravely held their ground against the overwhelming number of invading Japanese forces during World War II. Join us as we visit this island that is slowly returning to it's former glory and how it taught me my daughter's Love Language.
What’s up with Manila? It certainly is not as exciting and easy going as Kuala Lumpur. It is not as laid back and beautiful as Boracay. It isn’t actually anything I can rave about or would care to come back to. But we have committed to two weeks here (since one week was given to Boracay) and as always we are determined to nut out the best places to take Toddlers while we are here. Check out visits to Cosmic Kidz, Robot Zoo & Ark of Avilon.
Taxi - Plane - Bus - Boat - Tricycle: The adventure we took to get to Boracay. Super long journey with kids, one we hoped would be beneficial... And was it every. Voted on Trip Advisor as Asia's Best Beach it was easy to see why. We fell in love instantly.
Sounds like a news title doesn't it? It should have been. Here is a wrap of our final days in Kota Kinabalu. There is information on the 1Borneo Hypermall, our adventure to the Poring Hot Springs & canopy walk, plus an evening in KK city with markets & an enjoyable Indian dinner.
Our first trip to KL with the children was so different to our first trip last year without them. To be honest it was more fun, there are so many things you have an “excuse” to do when you have kids. Here is compilation of the top attractions we visited in KL in order. If you have less time then leave the bottom 2 off.
