The European part of the Netherlands borders Germany to the east, Belgium to the south, and the North Sea to the northwest. I am keen for some Dutch food and Dutch culture.

    A small little island in the Mediterranean Sea, about 80 km (50 mi) south of Sicily. We didn't know much about Malta, but it's increasing popularity meant we knew it was a spot for us to visit. And it was stunning.

    Western Australia is our original home. We built our house here, had our kids here and some of our family still live here. Will we ever see WA as the tourists do? Or was it just my old hometown, filled with the mundane lifestyle of being “home”?

    The UAE is a federation of seven emirates. We spent a week in Emirates hubcity of Dubai. The emirate of Dubai is located on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf. It has the largest population in the UAE and the second-largest land territory. It's super modern, always under construction and one of our favourite destinations.

    A landlocked country in Central Europe, most people have heard of at least one of it's cities - Prague. We got to stay in Prague for a week right before Christmas and enjoy it's unique individuality.

    The United Kingdom is made up of so many cities, but as we were heading to it's darkest and coldest days we only managed a small visit before heading back to the warmth of our eternal summers.

    This little country stole my heart with it's multiple shades of green, it's roaming animals and charming accents. What started out as a week stop for a travel conference became a month of craic!
