Kota Kinabalu, Borneo, Malaysia
July - August 2012
Our gorgeous week in Kota Kinabalu! Located East Malaysia, northwest coast of Borneo, it is affectionately known as KK and is a major tourist destination. Especially when travelling on a budget, Kota Kinabalu cheap hotels make it easy for everyone to enjoy and we certainly enjoyed unravelling it.
Having never been to Kota Kinabalu we were both excited and nervous. Excited to be leaving KL and heading into the unknown. Nervous cause we had done no research and didn't know about anything we could actually do there.
We hope you enjoy the journey just as much.
Sounds like a news title doesn't it? It should have been. Here is a wrap of our final days in Kota Kinabalu. There is information on the 1Borneo Hypermall, our adventure to the Poring Hot Springs & canopy walk, plus an evening in KK city with markets & an enjoyable Indian dinner.
The crocodile farm that sells male organs, croc oil, meat & eggs and also includes a show with staff dancing with them, laying on them and kissing them... Only in Asia. Also includes an overview of the beautiful islands in KK at Tunku Abdul Rahman marine park. With a sunset dinner at Tanjung Aru Beach.
