Hong Kong has so many things to do and while it is famous for its nightlife, you can find another part of Hong Kong hidden at all the famous tourist spots. Hong Kong caters for your little ones wonderfully and while it may not be as child friendly as the other Asian countries, it is safe and very clean.
1. Disneyland
Crowded or not, little kids will find the world of Disney exciting and just plain real. The characters inspire, the shows entertain and if you get a day where you can actually do some rides then Disney never fails. Take a spare change of clothes, becuase there is plenty of opportunity for the kids to get wet. Our family of 4 was $135 not including transport. You can get there very easily with the train. Looking forward to the opening of the Disney ferry though.

2. Hop On, Hop Off Bus Tour
A bus tour around Hong Kong is pretty exciting when they are sitting in an open top second story bus. It also makes easy work for the parents. Choose the place you want to get off, or don't get off at all. Naps are easy when there is no place you have to go, but you are still seeing everything. Two adults was $73, but kids under 6 are free & it includes 3 bus tours, a ferry ride, tram to the peak & a sampan ride!
3. The Peak
Not only is the ride to the Peak fun, but at the top there is a great playground and Café Deco also have a play area to entertain the kids while you enjoy the views. The tram to the top is actually more expensive then all 4 of us getting a taxi.
4. Hong Kong Playground
A multi-level playground with slides, sandpit and lots of climbing. This is located close to a tram stop and right near The Peak station. Go early or late afternoon, cause HK can get hot. This playground is disinfected 4 times a day and is surrounded by a beautiful park with turtles, waterfalls, gardens and fountains. Good, free fun. And a few vendors around to stock up some water or ice-creams.
5. Noah’s Ark
What’s not fun about a giant boat with pretend animals and real animals to look at, not to mention an educational play area? Also attached is a Solar Tower where the kids can make molecules and all sorts of crazy stuff. Entry for all 4 of us was $54 including the Solar Tower. Ferry to this island was $18 return for all 4 of us. And Hong Kong trams are $2 for all 4 of us to anywhere! Kids love the tram.
