Mexico
January - February 2013
So you want to go, but people tell you not to? We found Mexico to be filled with beautiful people, the most gorgeous beaches and no fear for our life.
After our initial visit to the very touristy Cancun we spent the reminder of our 3 weeks in Playa Del Carmen. While Playa is also become a tourist hot spot, we found the area to be tropical, friendly and full of life.
Playa del Carmen is located within the Riviera Maya, which runs from south of Cancún to Tulum and the Sian Ka'an biosphere reserve.

Swimming With Wild Sea Turtles At Akumal, Mexico
Mexico
We were so close. I reached out my hand to touch him and decided not to. He poked his little beady eyes above the surface. Glanced around and finding nothing remotely interesting ducked back under the water, swam straight to the bottom and continued to munch on the swaying sea grass. In my mind I can hear him whisper, "Dude."

Wet N Wild Cancun – My 1st Ever All-Inclusive Waterpark
Mexico
Wildly out of control in pitch-blackness with only the downward slope of the tunnel and the gushing water giving you direction… then BAM! You are out of the tunnel spinning around and around in a large dark cavity. But wait! There is a small hole in the middle of the cavern with a shimmering blue glow. You try to prevent the fall, but the slippery slope and running water leave only one way out. It is inevitable. Headfirst with a clumsy attempt at a dive through the blue opening and SPLASH! 9 feet deep of startling cold water greets you.
