Seasoned Traveller? Take The Where Are You Quiz

Guest post by
TWB proudly presents...

We've been a lot of places around the world, but these places are out of this world. I failed. Haha. Tell me how you go?!

The world is full of fabulous sights to see and incredible places to visit. From amazing natural phenomena such as the ethereal Northern Lights and the breath-taking Grand Canyon to impressive feats of human ingenuity like the ancient Pyramids of Giza and the beautiful Eiffel Tower, there’s so much to see and experience that you’d need three lifetimes to get around it all!

Some of the best attractions are those that seem like they belong elsewhere – like, you turn the corner, see it, and are completely gobsmacked. How did that get here?! Whether it’s something that seems to be in the wrong city (like the full-scale replica of the Sphinx in China), on the wrong planet (such as the Mars-like El Teide National Park in Tenerife), or in the wrong reality (like the Tolkienesque Hraunfossar waterfalls in Iceland), there’s always something to surprise you.

There is a certain well-known tourist destination in Wales that bears a striking resemblance to somewhere else, and the people there have put together a quiz dedicated to the many other lookalike places of the world. It is a series of pictures; to get the points you have to correctly identify the whereabouts of all these fabulous sights.

If you really want to identify yourself as a seasoned traveller, as someone who has experienced the best that this blue planet has to offer, then you’ll need to have been to a great number of countries and seen their most impressive offerings. That’s the only way you will be able to tell these places apart!

Bon voyage, and good luck!
