Safari's are on my to do list. Other then the Everglades we haven't done a safari and I'm dying to change that. This is a great list that's made my destination choice even harder.

It is perhaps the most famous of all safari destinations, due to its magnificent variety of wildlife. Besides, you will have the chance to view the “Great Wildebeest Migration,” if your visit coincides with the season between July- October.

The Serengeti, Tanzania
Together with the Maasai Mara, the Serengeti National Park is one of the best safari sites in the world.It is blessed with a pristine, spectacular and most incredible eco-system making it one of the world’s top big-game safari viewing sites. It has some stunning scenery, as well the famous wildebeest migration that it shares with the Maasai Mara.
Yellowstone National Park, US
If you thought that safari can only be experienced in Africa, you would be wrong. The Yellowstone National park in the US is famous for its wildlife. It has almost five hundred thousand species, which accounts for 4 per cent of all the wildlife in the world. A safari here gives you the opportunity to view exotic insects, butterflies and birds. Crocodiles, poison dart frogs, lizards and monkeys are amongst the most popular sites for tourists. The Everglades, USA
This wildlife area receives one million visitors in a year for a reason. You certainly want to be one of those people and have a once in a lifetime experience. It’s only one of three wildlife sites to appear on three lists of importance simultaneously. It’s appeared on the Wetland of International Importance, International Biosphere Research and World Heritage site lists.
Its vast wetland makes it home to birds, which makes it perfect for bird lovers. In addition, it hosts endangered species like the American crocodile, West Indian Manatee and Florida panther.
Periyar Tiger Reserve, India
This is a stunning safari place if you are fond of tigers; we all love tigers! This wonderful park is laden with tropical evergreen as well as deciduous forests, which are moist. It possesses two of the most threatened species in the world, the Indian Elephant and the Bengal tiger. Other eye-catching events that you can experience while on a safari here include the wild pig races, Travancore flying squirrel and migrating birds.
The Kruger Park, South Africa
If there is one place that you should go on safari, then it is the Kruger Park. The park affords the opportunity to get up close and personal with nature.The animals there are unmoved by vehicles making the viewing experience in the park fabulous. Madagascar
This country is fortunate to have unique species of wildlife that are ONLY found here. For those safari lovers who get thrilled by the unique, bizarre and one of a kind, this will be a place for you.
