41 Photos That Will Make You Want To Visit Ritz-Carlton Bali

Bali, Indonesia By

There are some resorts that have to be seen to be believed.

The Ritz-Carlton, Bali is one of those places.

I’ve tried describing my experience discovering this Indonesian paradise in written form, but now I’ll step aside and let the pictures do the talking.

But why 41 photos? Well, if I did 42 then it would be the meaning of life. No, not really. I had hundreds to choose from, and narrowing those down to just a few dozen was tough. I want this collection to communicate the emotion and sensation I felt while I explored the resort. While I soaked up the embodiment of luxury.

My hope is that one day soon you’ll get the chance to do the same. Safe travels.

Suite & Villa

Living room in the 2-bedroom Sky Villa featuring a unique hand-crafted coffee table as the centrepiece.

Private infinity pool for the Sky Villa.

Welcome gift on arrival in the villa. Delicious coconut balls and fresh fruit. Yum!

Private outdoor lounge area in the Sky Villa…

…or if you prefer indoor, you are covered as well.

Upon check-in I was asked if I would like hot tea brought to my room the following morning. Of course I said yes.

Aw, coming back to the room in the evening, this friendly little fella and a hand-written note thanking me for my stay was waiting for me.

Now that’s a bathtub with a view… and a soft headrest.

Food & Drinks

Outdoor seating at The Beach Grill.

Wagyu carpaccio with mushroom and truffle salsa, watercress, parmesan and extra virgin olive oil.

Rib eye with a side of wilted watercress. Melt-in-your-mouth goodness.

The dessert simply known as “Chocolate”, which includes cashews, caramel, popcorn ice cream.

Grilled snapper fillet with a side of asparagus.

One of my favourite places to chill… the Ritz-Carlton Lounge & Bar. Those panoramic views are to die for!

Whatever you feel like drinking, my friend at the Lounge & Bar is ready to help.

In that case, make mine a mojito!

Breezes Tapas Lounge. This funky beachfront dining option creates small plates inspired by all corners of the globe.

Iberian sampler at Breezes Tapas Lounge. One bite is never enough.

Caprese at Breezes Tapas Lounge. I couldn’t get enough of this soft, succulent mozzarella.

One of the signature cocktails at Breezes Tapas Lounge, called “Tropical Breeze”. It sure felt like it!

One of 5 courses in the Rijstaffel Dinner at Bejana. A sample of the best dishes from the Indonesian archipelago.

One of the highlights of my stay… a floating breakfast in my villa pool. This floatable tray was stacked with delicious breakfast dishes and delivered to my villa - French toast, yogurt parfait, muesli, salmon benedict, watermelon pizza, croissant and fresh squeezed juices.

All I had to do was add water – pool water, that is – and nibble on these delicious delights, and let the views permeate my soul.

Pool & Beach

The main pool overlooks the sandy beach and deliciously blue ocean.

This is where I belong. Lounging by the swimming pool with a fresh coconut in hand.

Manicured tropical gardens spread all over the resort. The deep green tones assist in the mind and body’s relaxation.

Can’t decide between the sun lounge or the pool? Why not do the sun lounge IN the pool?

Who would you like to share these sun lounges with? Go ahead and share this article with them on Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp or homing pigeon.

Activities, Facilities & Everything Else

It’s a nice day for a white wedding. Ritz-Carlton Bali can organise everything for the big day – chapel, decorations, reception, accommodation and more.

Is it time for ice cream?

Kids feel welcome at the Ritz-Carlton Bali at every step. Here’s the cute Ritz Kids check-in desk in the lobby.

Toys galore at Ritz Kids – a club just for the junior guests. This facility is freely available to all resort guests at no extra charge.

Preparing for the Melukat (Soul Purification) ritual on the beach at sunrise. A Balinese Hindu Priest and assistant led me through the tradition, which left me with a profound sense of peace and tranquillity.
