Rooms With A Breathtaking View

TWB proudly presents...

The more we travel the more we appreciate a room with a view and that's why this guest post has me pining for far away places.

Everyone has a different checklist of what they want when staying at a hotel. Some want the fastest Wi-Fi connection, others a big buffet selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and me? I just want views I can look at for hours.

Here are seven rooms with views on my ‘places-to-stay-before-you-know-what-happens’ list:

Atlantis the Palm, Dubai

The view from Atlantis the Palm’s Underwater Suite differs slightly to that of other hotel rooms in Dubai. Instead of viewing Dubai’s landscape from your balcony, expect an incredible view of your own personal aquarium – that’s right, inside of your hotel room. I’m packing my bags!

Shangri-La Hotel, Paris

Set  your sights on the Eiffel Tower, Seine River, Les Invalides, the Louvre and Montmarte – and these are just a few of the spectacular and legendary landmarks you will see from the balcony of your hotel room at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris.

Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge, Peru

Manchu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge is the only lodge located directly adjacent to the ruins of Machu Picchu. Other than viewing the ruins from your hotel room, during your stay you will have easy access to them from early morning until late afternoon – giving you plenty of time to explore and admire them up close.

Enchantment Resort, Arizona

This one is perfect for those who love the outdoors. Be prepared for breath-taking views of the towering red rocks of Boynton Canyon right on your doorstep. While you’re there, enjoy long hiking trails and exploring ancient ruins by foot.

Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong

More of a city slicker? Then the views from the world’s tallest hotel, the Ritz-Carlton in Hong Kong, are for you. Their rooms offer panoramic views of the city, Hong Kong Island and Victoria Harbour.

The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Canada

Perched on the shore of the emerald green glacial lake that is Lake Louise, The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is situated in the heart of pristine Banff National Park (one of UNESCO’s world Heritage Sites). Enjoy the beautiful, still and serene surroundings by going on a hike, canoeing, horseback riding, fishing and mountain biking in the summer. In the winter you can enjoy skiing, ice-skating and even a ride on a snow-mobile. But regardless of the season, you can enjoy the stunning views of the lake all year round. One and Only, Cape Town

At the heart of Cape Town’s harbour, you can expect nothing less than the perfect view of Table Mountain – one of the world’s seven wonders of Nature. Towering above the Mother City, you can enjoy a gorgeous view of this flat-topped beauty from the comfort of your own hotel room or while sipping on a little something from the One and Only’s glass-windowed Vista Bar and Lounge.

Corinthia Hotel, London

The glorious pent house at the Corinthia Hotel in London shows off some of the city’s greatest tourist attractions. Your view will include the London Eye and the River Thames while you sit back away from the hustle and bustle below. Sounds like perfection to me!

Hard Rock Hotel Cancun, Mexico

This gem is situated right on the beach with a gorgeous infinity pool and the most jaw-dropping ocean views you will ever lay eyes on. You can admire either a view of the lagoon or of the ocean from your room’s balcony.
